Order Procedure

  1. 1Visit our store.
  2. 2View store samples and decide on the design, material,color and number of copies. (We would like to consult throughout our works.)
  3. 3Estimate the price of the final design.
  4. 4We will send an E-mail confirmation of your final design.
  5. 5Printing will proceed as soon as you have confirmed the final design.
  6. 6The products will be delivered to PAPIER LABO.
  7. 7We will contact you when it is time to pick up the final design at the store.

Price

200 business cards: 25,000yen minimum　/　200 direct mails: 30,000yen minimum　/　50 invitation cards: 45,000yen minimum (The price above are NOT including any design fee)

  • ※The prices above are for typographical printing. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other requests for printings.
  • ※All the above are an example of products.  The price may vary depending on design, number, and material.
  • ※It will usually take 2 weeks after the confirmation of design, however It may be subject to change depending on the printing types.
  • ※We strongly suggest you to have extra 1-2 weeks when requesting an order in order to have the design ready on time.
  • ※There will be cancelation fee of 5,400yen if you cancel the service after the final design is confirmed.

SHOBUN-DOU-seal

SHOBUN-DOU is the Japanese seal impression shop in Makurazaki city, Kagoshima and is owned by Mr. Noboru Kanda. They use natural *SATSUMA-TSUGE (type of wood) to carve and design your name on seal. Because of the unique patterns that each SATSUMA-TSUGE has, the each seal will come out differently, which make it the only one in the world. Mr. Kanda directly arranges and designs the font type of engraved mark using " TENSHO," which is the one of font types inspired by hieroglyphic. Such a Traditional craftsmanship should attract you and you will be able to enjoy how modern pattern combines with traditional technique in SHOBUN-DOU seal.

*SATSUMA-TSUGE(Buxus microphylla): is a species of Buxus native to Japan and Taiwan.

Order procedure of "SHOBUN-DOU seal"

  1. 1Visit our store.
  2. 2Pick and choose a type of branch that you would like the seal to be.
  3. 3You will receive 3 kinds of designs per a branch (seal) and choose one from those 3 choices.
  4. 4Start to carve as soon as the design is determined upon mutual acceptance.
  5. 5The products will be delivered to PAPIER LABO.
  6. 6We will contact you when it is time to pick up the final design at the store.

Price for SHOBUN-DOU seal

ne seal impression (anopisthograph／engraved for only single-side): 8,640yen

  • ※Includes the fee for 3 designs
  • ※There will be additional charge of 1,620yen if you would like to modify the design.
  • ※There will be a cancellation fee of 2,160yen when you cancel after you order us the 3 designs.
  • ※It will usually take approximately 5 months after you have confirmed the final design, however it may be subject to change as the situation demands.
  • ※When ordering via E-mail, please let us know the information including desired size or intended purposes (registered personal seal, approval seal and so on) in advance. We will select the branch which delivers your own preferences the best and send you some pictures of the branches.

EMBOSSER

Paper Emboss or Embossing is a special tool to create a design on paper by curving concave surface and convex surface on paper and make surface asperity. PAPIER LABO provides services to make customized original designs, logos, and monograms using the EMBOSSOER to match your desires and tstes.

Order Procedure of "Embosser" (Case 1. If you'd like to leave that designed to us)

  1. 1Visit our store.
  2. 2Let us hear your requests of design for embossing.
  3. 3We will send you an E-mail for you to confirm the final design.
  4. 4Printing will proceed as soon as you have confirmed the final design.
  5. 5The products will be delivered to PAPIER LABO.
  6. 6We will contact you when it is time to pick up the final design at the store.

Order Procedure of "Embosser" (Case 2. If you would like to use your own design)

  1. 1Please send us your design date that formatted with Adobe Illustrator (Ver.CS5 )or bring in your design directly to our store.
  2. 2We will check your design. If your design needs any modification, we will  let you know via PDF document.
  3. 3Printing will proceed as soon as you have confirmed the final design.
  4. 4The products will be delivered to PAPIER LABO.
  5. 5We will contact you when it is time to pick up the final design at the store.

Rubber Stamp

PAPIER LABO provides services to make original customized designs, logos, and monograms using the rubber stamp to match your desires and tastes.
